What CookThis Does
CookThis lets users take or upload food photos and receive AI-generated recipe suggestions. Recipes are simple home versions based on the photo, user-provided context, and preferences.
AI Output and No Guarantees
CookThis uses AI, which can make mistakes. Generated recipes may misidentify dishes, ingredients, allergens, cooking methods, quantities, or dietary suitability. CookThis does not guarantee exact restaurant recipes, allergen-free meals, nutrition accuracy, or professional cooking, health, medical, religious, or dietary advice.
Cooking and Food Safety
You are responsible for checking ingredients before cooking or eating, avoiding allergens and unsafe foods, following safe food handling practices, cooking meat, poultry, seafood, and eggs to safe temperatures, using kitchen tools safely, and confirming that ingredients meet your personal, religious, medical, or dietary needs.
Dietary and Allergy Preferences
CookThis may use preferences such as halal, vegetarian, vegan, no pork, no alcohol, allergies, or avoidances to personalize recipes. These features are assistance tools, not guarantees. You must review each recipe and ingredient.
User Content
User content may include food photos, uploaded images, notes, restaurant or source names, preferences, corrections, and feedback. You must have the rights needed to upload content and should not upload images that violate another person's privacy, intellectual property, or legal rights.
License to Process User Content
You keep ownership of your content. You grant CookThis a limited license to host, process, transmit, analyze, and display your content as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account security and for providing accurate account information. CookThis may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create legal, security, or safety risk.
Acceptable Use
You may not upload illegal, harmful, abusive, or privacy-violating content; attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service; use CookThis to create unsafe instructions; misrepresent AI outputs as verified professional advice; or use the service in a way that violates law or third-party rights.
Subscriptions, Credits, and Payments
Paid plans, credits, subscriptions, app store billing, cancellation, and refund terms will be added if those features are launched. Do not rely on unpublished pricing or plan details.
Intellectual Property
CookThis owns its app, brand, design, software, and service materials. You may use generated recipes for personal cooking, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
Third-Party Services
CookThis may rely on third-party providers for AI, hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, payments, and support. Their terms and privacy policies may also apply.
Changes to the Service
CookThis may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. CookThis may suspend or terminate access for violations, legal risk, security risk, or misuse.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent allowed by law, CookThis disclaims warranties including implied warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of Liability
